Parks that are available for rent can be booked up to one year in advance of the date requested on a first-come, first-served basis.

Any person claiming residency may be required to provide proof of residency in the form of a valid California Driver's License showing a current Livermore address.

Requests to reserve a park must be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the date you are requesting. No dates are held for any group who has not submitted a facility rental form and payment.

Any changes to your reservation time must be made at least 30 days in advance of your event. Failure to vacate the premises by your designated time will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

A minimum Damage and Compliance deposit of $300 is required for all groups. The deposit will be returned approximately 15 days after your event if the park remains/is returned to its original condition, and arrival/departure of the park was completed within the hours scheduled. If any of the rules/regulations/guidelines are violated, part or all of the deposit may be forfeited.

Personal BBQs may not be brought onto LARPD parks.

The renter is solely responsible for cleaning up and leaving the facility in good condition. The renter must remove all items such as tablecloths, decorations and other objects. Trash must be placed in the trash containers provided or removed by the renter.

Failure to leave the park in good condition may result in a full forfeiture of your deposit.

You may cater your own event or hire a caterer. It is important that the caterer be advised of your scheduled hours. Delivery/removal of all supplies/items must be within the scheduled hours. If you choose to rent additional equipment, it must be delivered/picked up during the scheduled hours.

Use of BBQ trailers, if allowed, must be approved by the LARPD District Office at least one week prior to rental event.

Commercial Use
Commercial activities are not allowed except by special agreement with the District.
Rental fees will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
Renter may be required to obtain a special event permit securing a special event permit.

Noise level shall not exceed 60 db average at the perimeter of the property. Music restrictions vary from park to park. Contact the LARPD office for music information.

Air Jumps/Equipment
Park District permission is required for setting up a portable toilet, air jumps and/or other large equipment on park grounds. Effective May 1, 2009, is a permit fee for bounce houses at LARPD parks. The new fee, effective April 2015, is $50 for residents and $60 for nonresidents. Call the LARPD Maintenance Service Department at 925-960-2440 for information or view the Bounce House Permit.

The company providing the jump or equipment must have proof of insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 with an endorsement naming LARPD as additional insured on file in the District Office at the time of the event.

Alcoholic Beverages
No alcoholic beverages are allowed at or during youth activities.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the parking lots.
May Nissen & Veterans Parks: Alcohol Permit is required and is available with rental only.

Insurance Requirements
Livermore Area Recreation and Park District requires that renters provide proof of insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 general liability with a separate attached endorsement naming Livermore Area Recreation and Park District as additional insured.

Charges for insurance will be added to the rental fee. If renter provides his own insurance, as noted above, at least 30 days prior to the event, the insurance fee will be removed from permit fees.

Cancellations and Refunds
The rental fee is non-refundable within 60 days of event date.

LARPD reserves the right to cancel any permit or event, or to close the parks to use, if weather or other conditions make use of the park hazardous to the user or potentially damaging to the facility.

All facility fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
