Pre-Care | LARPD Summer Camp | All Ball Week

Pre-Care gives you the ability to drop off early each day of camp for the week registered. This Pre-Care will take place at the Robert Livermore Community Center.

LARPD Summer Camp |  All Ball Week

Join our fun and energetic staff at Summer Camp 2022! This summer day camp is action-packed with traditional sports and games along with enrichment activities! Each week offers a new theme to add a fun twist to games, activities, and crafts. Please bring water, snacks, and lunch. Camp groups will be separated by age. Sign-in/out will be located at the Robert Livermore Community Center. **Drop-in not available. Health order protocols will be followed.

Reading and Writing Workshop | If You Give A Mouse A Cookie Camp
Young Rembrandts

Children through this five-day workshop will explore the world of Laura Numeroff. Each day they will read a different Laura Numeroff book, and then will create wonderful drawings and bring their favorite stories to life by combining creativity and imagination! *$15 materials fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

A Plate of Pixar

Cooking Round The World Staff

Children will enjoy a different favorite Pixar movie AND the foods mentioned in films like Ratatouille, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and others! Kids learn awesome cooking skills through daily demos, experiment with kitchen tools. $50 (by check) due at beginning of class to instructor.

Come to Summer Nature Camp and have some fun in the sun while learning about the natural world around us. Through age-appropriate programs and activities, the kids will experience the park by playing in the creek, going in search of buried treasure, and hiking Livermore’s hidden gem, Sycamore Grove Park. They will learn about everything from the solar system to tadpoles in the creek.  Each week will have a different theme with new activities and adventures.

*New this year, for Explorers and Mountain Lions camps we will have one special day to continue camp fun into the evening, with night games and a campfire. On Thursday for this week, the camp will run from 3 pm to 9 pm.

LARPD Preschool Staff 

LARPD Preschool Summer Camps offer a traditional camp experience emphasizing fun, hands-on activities, and learning adventures.  Be prepared to get messy and bring a healthy, nut-free snack each day.  Children must be able to use the restroom independently to participate.  *COVID safety measures are in place for all programs and masks are always required for everyone. 

Registration opens on March 30th at 9:00 am. To Register call the Preschool Office at (925) 960-2480. Online registration is not available for Preschool classes.

Skyhawks Basketball Camp

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages.

A fun start to summer break mornings! Players will learn basic tennis strokes and enjoy fun games. The emphasis of this camp is improving hand-eye coordination. A tennis racket is required.  The suggested kid-sized racket is 23 inches.

Junior Tennis

Fun skill-building tennis drills that help students learn the basics while building confidence.  Camp will focus on rally contests, playing games, learning to score, understanding basic tennis rules, and end with a camp tournament. Students will be grouped by age and ability. Come learn a sport you can play for a lifetime! Camp welcomes beginner and intermediate levels. Please bring a tennis racket, a small snack, and plenty of liquids to drink.

Electronic Game Design Camp | Racing Games 
Engineering For Kids Staff 

Prepare for some fast fun as we use the Engineering Design Process to design and create our  very own racing game where we will race our personally designed vehicles! We will create a  storyboard to identify and capture the rules of play and characters for our game, animate, and then program it! At the end of the week take a copy home to play! *$40 materials fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

LEGO® Robotics Camp  | Amazing Mechanisms

This class is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO® WeDo™ Robots. Using LEGO® bricks, students build a variety of machines. Action Movie Flix

Adventure awaits you in these high-intensity movies, where you'll use a green screen, camera tricks, & special effects to create your own live-action action movie. You’ll collaborate to write, act, & direct in this stunt-packed movie where you'll be taught action choreography to thrill the audience. *$35 Production fee is included in the price for the camp. Use stop motion tricks to create fires, explosions, and even floods, as your characters can battle it out or work together to save the day in this action-packed stop motion class.
