The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District continues to work closely with Alameda County Public Health Department as we help limit the spread of COVID-19. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our staff, program participants, and community. We have adapted and implemented the County's health and safety guidelines within our programs and facilities to ensure the health and safety of our staff and program participants. We understand this is a difficult and challenging time for everyone, and we appreciate your continued support as we try to help keep our community safe while offering fun and engaging programs and essential services.

During the shelter-in place order, the Friendly Visitor Program only consists of phone calls and writing notes to the seniors but it is a critical need. Volunteers are required to complete a background check (at no cost). Once the shelter-in-place is concluded, they would like volunteers to go back to regular visits with seniors.
