“Camping is in-tents!”  Whether your family are seasoned campers, or you are not quite sure how to put up a tent, here is an opportunity to try a quick campout close to home.  Pack a picnic dinner, or bring food to cook on the barbecue, and come to a special spot in Sycamore Grove Park where we can set up our sleeping bags under the stars (or in your tent if you prefer).  As the sun sets Ranger Seth will take you on an evening hike in the park.  After your hike everyone will enjoy a campfire where you will learn about creatures of the night and enjoy s’mores and hot cocoa.   Additional details and a packing list will be emailed to registrants before the campout.  Under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. $20
Sip & Paint Sunday, June 6 6:30 p.m. Holdener Park (2995 Hansen Road)
Join Ranger Dan at Holdener Park for a beautiful sunset.  Holdener Park provides a great summer sunset with views of the hills and valleys.  We will provide the location, the sunset and hors d’oeuvres - you provide the painting materials and the wine.  We will go on a very short hike to the location.   Some taxidermy animals will be on hand for additional inspiration.  *Wine will be the only alcohol allowed. $25; Age 21+
Fireworks Hike Sunday, July 4 7:15 p.m. (Sunset 8:32) Sycamore Grove Park, Wetmore Entrance (1051 Wetmore Road)
