May Nissen Swim Center

The May Nissen Swim Center is a recreational pool facility that is open to the community during the summer months. Offering two (2) pools, one recreational pool and a wading pool perfect for the little ones. This facility houses the District's American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program along with water exercise, and recreational swim. Come on down and enjoy the community's retro gem. Pool Rules

We strive to ensure a safe and fun aquatic environment for our community, part of this involves your cooperation. When you visit either the Robert Livermore Aquatic Center or the May Nissen Swim Center, our Pool Rules are the basic guidelines that are expected from our guests. Guests will be expected to follow all posted rules and oral instructions from the aquatic staff at all times; failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the facility without a refund.

The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District in partnership with Kaiser Grant, offers scholarship swim lessons and Camps at the May Nissen Swim Center.
