The Facility Rentals Team: Meet Samantha and Taylor

Please help us welcome Senior Office Assistants, Taylor Cameron, and Samantha Erickson, to our LARPD Facility Rental team!

In 2018, Taylor was hired on with LARPD in our Sports division after working for City of San Jose since 2014. She has a wealth of knowledge in customer service working in Recreation, Community Services, and Parks. Since moving over to the Facility Rentals division in the summer of 2021, Taylor enjoys assisting our customers and continues to look for new ways to help their process become more efficient.

Samantha (Sam), was hired in the fall of 2021, after working as an intern in our sports division from Sacramento State in 2019. She helped with recreation sports programs and spent time in the Facility Rental world prior to accepting a full-time job outside of LARPD in 2020. Sam’s new experience has helped expand her great customer service skills in this role. She collaborates with our customers making the process easy and smooth.

This dynamic duo is ready to assist you, no matter how big or small the event. They'll take you step-by-step to accommodate your wedding and reception, special party, conference, meeting, or a small get-together. For Facility Rental information visit us at, and click on Rentals at the top of our homepage.

You can email Taylor and Sam at for more information. We look forward to assisting you in the future!

Meet Tommy: Sports Recreation Coordinator

Tommy Cook joined LARPD's team earlier this year and has already made an impact on the community with innovative programs.

Tommy was born in San Francisco and raised in Redwood City. He began his career on the peninsula working for the City of San Carlos and City of Burlingame. He now oversees LARPD's Youth and Adult Sports in Livermore, as well as the very popular Summer Camp. He's also a personal trainer with an extensive background in playing, training and coaching a wide variety of sports (football, basketball, track & field, Ultimate Frisbee, Cross Country, etc).

"He’s phenomenal, he’s starting new programs that we haven’t had before and the parents and kids love him." Recreation Supervisor, Vicki Wiedenfeld raved about Cook.

Cook shared his enthusiasm about bringing back old programs and starting new ones. "I’m super excited as we were able to bring back our Youth Basketball League and start new classes such as our Ultimate Frisbee class. I’m really looking forward to Winter/Spring, as we plan on introducing Youth Athlete Development classes, continue our Youth Basketball League, hold a Pre-School Track Meet, and keep our adult sports going while adding new offerings such as Adult Kickball." Cook said.

"Everyone in Livermore has been great and really welcoming, and I’m looking forward to being able to continue to provide as many fun/well-rounded programs as possible!"

Keep an eye on the LARPD Recreation Guide for updates on Tommy's new programs. For more program information email or call 925-373-5700 to sign up.
