It can be lonely for many seniors while we are sheltering in place and isolation can be difficult to handle. If you are a senior sheltering in place, we want to have a friendly conversation with you and do a wellness check to make sure you are doing okay. Sign up for our Friendly Calls for Seniors and one of our LARPD staff will call to chat for a few minutes to brighten your day and help you to stay connected with others. You will be called Monday - Friday during the shelter in place order at a time during the day that is convenient for you. To sign up for Friendly Calls for Seniors call 925-373-5760 or click the green button below to sign up online.

Our very own volunteer Gayle Thorsen-McCune hosted and guided two flower arranging sessions at our romantic Ravenswood Historic Site. Students participated and made beautiful fall arrangements that they were able to take home. Watch our video that highlights all of the fun our program participates had on October 23, 2020.
