Action may not be taken on any matter raised during this public comment period until the matter is specifically listed on a future agenda.     1. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of May 12, 2021

  1. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS

The LARPD Board of Directors will review and discuss taking appropriate action or inaction with respect to the following matters:

    1. PENSION OBLIGATION BONDS

The Board shall review and consider approving a resolution implementing the District’s proposed policies: Pension Funding, FIN-01-0001 and Debt Management, FIN-01-0002.  (Resolution)

Resolution No. 2712, approving and adopting a debt management policy and pension funding policy in connection with future consideration of the issuance and sale of pension obligation bonds to refund outstanding obligations of the District to the Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association (ACERA). 

  1. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS (No Action Required)

    1. GENERAL FINANCIAL UPDATE

This is a standing item while the District operates under an emergency declaration.  The General Manager and Administrative Services Manager will provide a financial update on current financial matters.

    1. COVID-19 PROGRAM UPDATES 

The General Manager and Staff will report on programs in their respective departments.
