In accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Orders, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Board of Directors and staff will be participating in this meeting via teleconference. In the interest of maintaining appropriate social distancing, members of the public may participate in the meeting electronically and shall have the right to observe and offer public comment at the appropriate time during this Board meeting.

Action may not be taken on any matter raised during this public comment period until the matter is specifically listed on a future agenda. Those who wish to comment on an item that has been listed on this agenda may comment when that item has been opened for consideration by the Board and before any action is taken.
The LARPD Board of Directors will review and discuss taking appropriate action or inaction with respect to the following matters:
The Board will review and consider approving District Notice 0008, Delegation of Authority. (Resolution)
Resolution No. ____, approving District Notice 0008, Delegation of Authority.
The Board shall review and discuss whether revisions should be made to Board Policy Number 5060 – “Minutes of Board Meetings” and provide direction to staff. (Motion)
The Board shall review and discuss California Special Districts Association (CSDA)’s “AB 361 Implementation Guide” and consider approving a Resolution pursuant to the provisions enacted by AB 361 providing flexibility to meet remotely during a proclaimed emergency.
Resolution No. _____, proclaiming a local emergency, ratifying the proclamation of a state of emergency by Governor Newsom’s Order dated March 4, 2020, and authorizing remote teleconference meetings of the legislative bodies of the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District for the period September 29, 2021 to October 29, 2021 pursuant to Brown Act Provisions
This is a standing item while the District operates under an emergency declaration. The General Manager and Administrative Services Manager will provide a financial update on current financial matters.
The General Manager and Staff will report on programs in their respective departments.
