The Youth Advisory Commission brings together youth and adults, private and public sectors of the community to address responsibility for the care, health, safety, welfare, and education of Livermore's young people. The Commission promotes youth involvement in the Livermore community between the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District and the City of Livermore. These ongoing public meetings create a forum for ideas and provide a vehicle for concerns and interests of youth to communicate to Livermore's elected officials. Commission meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Avenue, Livermore CA 94550, in the Fiesta Room. There is a total of eighteen (18) members on the Commission, fifteen (15) youth members ages 12 to 20, and three (3) adult members ages 21 years and older; each position is a two-year term.
