Mail Hold: If you're planning to be away from home for an extended period, request the United States Postal Service to hold your mail until your return. This prevents mail from accumulating and becoming an easy target.

Informed Delivery: Sign up for the Postal Service's Informed Delivery service. It sends you email notifications about incoming mail and packages, allowing you to stay informed and track your deliveries.

Financial Vigilance: Regularly monitor your bills, credit card statements, and bank accounts. Quick detection of any suspicious activity can help you take action before any serious harm occurs.

Enhanced Security: Consider investing in a locked mailbox, a P.O. Box, or a video surveillance security system for added protection against mail theft.
