Basketball Practice & Play is designed to teach your kids how to properly play the sport of basketball. Players will practice for the first 30 minutes with coaches and play against each other right after! This is a less competitive class; new teams will be assembled each week. This is a great way to be introduced to gameplay, as well as keep working on your skills for our LARPD Basketball Leagues!

Karate Classes (ages 9-15)

John Crose - Livermore School of Karate  

This class teaches self-defense through the basic blocks, kicks, and punches of traditional karate while improving the students' self-confidence and overall fitness. Learn in a safe environment that promotes fun and sportsmanship. A karate uniform is included in the fee for all new students upon registration.  For more information, please contact the sports department at sports@larpd.org.  No Class 6/22

Kidz Love Soccer - Soccer 1 (ages 5-6)

Kidz Love Soccer Staff 

Players will learn dribbling, passing, defense, and shooting goals! Fun skill games are played at every session, and every participant will have a ball at their feet. Small-sided soccer matches will be introduced gradually. Perfect for first time players while being fun and engaging for kids with some experience. All participants receive a Kidz Love soccer jersey! Shin guards are not provided, participants must have their own shin guards after the first meeting. This is a 7-week session No class 7/4

Kidz Love Soccer - Soccer 2  (ages 7-10)

Kidz Love Soccer Staff  

A great introduction to competitive soccer. Skillz and scrimmages teaches advanced skill building such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a team format, as well as an introduction to goal-tending. Kids will scrimmage and learn to play together as a team. From defense and mid-field to forward and goalie...kids get exposure to playing every position and have a blast doing it. Appropriate for players of varying skill levels. Each player receives a Kidz Love Soccer jersey. Class is 45 minutes long and meets once a week. This is a 7-week session No Class 7/4

This is an ORANGE ball INTERMEDIATE class, catering to those who can demonstrate competency in basic strokes and good ball tracking skills. Learning how to rally is a strong focus in this class. Graduates of Mighty Aces are placed in this class as well, ages 8-14; beginner teenagers also welcome! No Class 7/5
