Preschool
LARPD provides part-time, play-based, child-centered preschool programs for children ages one (18 months) to five (5) years of age. Our play-based programs reflect the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and self-help areas for the development of the whole child. Meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving, allowing individual growth and development.
We are a month-to-month, three-day-per-week program T-W-Th. There is no class when the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District school has school release days and breaks. For the enrolling school year, children must be:
- Preschool: 3 years old by September 1
- Pre-K: 3.9 years old by September 1

Registration Now Open. Stop by the Youth Services office at 71 Trevarno Road, in Livermore or call (925) 960-2480.
Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A $50, non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration to secure your spot.
Fall School Year Toddlers at Trevarno and Mommy and Me Registration Open Wednesday, May 15.
Our preschool programs are part-time and focus on play-based learning. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to assist in the classroom.
Toddlers @ Trevarno (Age 18-24 months)

Little House Preschool, 85 Trevarno Road
Toddlers @Trevarno provides an opportunity for parents/guardian and their toddlers to socialize and play while developing language and cognitive skills while engaging in art, music, storytime, and sensory activities. This class is offered in 6-week sessions. Class time is 1 hour and 15 minutes, two days per week.

Little Explorers: Where your child can learn the routines of a preschool with the comfort of a parent or guardian. Parents enjoy being with their child as they experience circle time, music and movement, art, and outside play. Pack a nut-free healthy snack. Class time is 2 hours per day, one day per week.

Tiny Tots (3 years old by September 1)
Through active exploration in the classroom and outdoors, preschoolers will develop competencies in decision-making, reasoning, problem-solving, and social skills. Activities will encourage hands-on learning through self-discovery and interaction with others. A well-rounded curriculum that balances indoor and outdoor activities will include identifying shapes, primary colors, letter recognition, and numbers. Pack a healthy nut-free snack each day. Class time is 2.5 hours per day, 3 days per week.
Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
*Class time will increase by an additional 30 minutes in January with a tuition increase to $300.

Pre-K (4 years old by September 1)
While engaged in thoughtful, age-appropriate play, children gain confidence for Kindergarten. Children will learn to engage in relationships, problem-solve, practice conflict resolution, expand language skills, understand limits, and spark creativity. Children will participate in music and movement, art, outdoor activities, and circle time.
Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
Class time is 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Location is determined during the registration.
