The Youth Services Division of Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has the unique opportunity to provide continuity of enriching developmentally appropriate experiences for children beginning in our preschool programs, continuing with our School Age Child Development programs - ESS and lastly, onto our Middle School PAL programs.
Child Development programs in the Youth Services Division focus on the whole child and work diligently to support them and their families as they move through their early years through middle school. Programs provide intentionally planned activities through the Project Approach, which encourages children to become leaders and learn independence through interactive activities.
The Project Approach method of teacher and child curriculum planning is apparent in our programs and has been an effective part of programming. We are proud to have the opportunity to watch our preschoolers become successful middle school students who leave our program as eighth graders with a solid set of life skills they can count on.
Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
members of the public. As part of this commitment, the District strives to provide an accessible website compatible with
