Journey by motor coach to Placerville's apple country for a hosted lunch and shopping for "all things apple" to take home - pies, fritters, donuts, apple butter, jams, jellies, and fresh caramel apples!

High Hill Ranch, known for its old-school donut recipes, also hosts Apple Hill's largest arts & crafts show and the area's largest selection of outdoor activities. Enjoy the craft fair with a multitude of handmade items to cherish, try out the trout-fishing pond, or hunt through the pumpkin patch for the perfect Jack-o'-Lantern.

Then, hop back on board to be whisked down the hill to Folsom for your docent-led tour of the scenic Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary. Home to dozens of rescued wild and domestic animals (including bears, birds, barn animals, and more), you will learn the unique histories of the residents and discover behind-the-scenes zoo facts. The grounds are lovely, with ADA-compliant paths for viewing the spacious habitats.

*Fun fact: Red Fox brothers, "Link" and "Zel," are rescues discovered in Livermore that now reside blissfully in the Zoo Sanctuary.
