We start our day with a "Behind the Scenes" Motorcoach Tour at Hilmar Cheese Factory.  Only available to motorcoach guests! Our tour guide boards the coach and narrates the 15-minute drive through the world’s largest cheese and whey manufacturing facility in Hilmar, California.

Next, disembark to enjoy free cheese tasting and Culinary Agri-tourism at its best! Our docents will guide us on a walking tour, then we can explore the exhibits and watch through the viewing windows as employees package the "Big Cheese" - a 640 lb. block of cheese.

Learn how cheese is made, and then enjoy a catered seated meal hosted by LARPD, featuring a sandwich buffet complete with homemade Cheese Chowder Soup, fresh green salad, and famous Cream Cheese Brownie or Cheese Pie (better than any cheesecake!). Water, iced tea, and Peet's coffee included!

After lunch, it's ice cream making time! In this class, you'll make your own cup of ice cream to enjoy, and finish your tour with the short "MOOvie" in the Cheese Theatre and shopping time in the gift shop.

All aboard the coach again for a stop and shop at Duarte's Poinsettias!!

Wander through a vast greenhouse for any color or variety of large and healthy Poinsettias, cyclamen, and Christmas cactus.

Just in time for Thanksgiving and Holiday shopping ... stock up! There's plenty of room in the bus storage to tote your treasures home.
