The Community Center building is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Fridays. The Recreation Building is open 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays. Both buildings are open for extended hours on evenings and weekends for programs and rentals.
It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps Livermore park and recreation activities. Visit the Foundation page for information on donating.

The Board of Directors meets at 7:00pm on the second and last Wednesday of each month inside the Cresta Blanca Ballroom at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave.
No, LARPD is an independent special district and was created by the vote of the public in 1947. It has its own five-person Board of Directors that is elected by the citizens.
When they are first published, Parks & Play Brochures are mailed to all Livermore addresses (including businesses, post office boxes and rural routes), and copies are inserted in Livermore subscriber issues of the East Bay Times. Brochures are also available at most LARPD-operated buildings, Livermore City Hall, the three Livermore libraries and numerous businesses.
You can register for a class online, by calling 925-373-5700 or by mailing in the registration form that is in the back of the brochure.
If you must cancel your registration, we require notification at least 7 days before the first meeting of the class. There is a $12 service charge for cancelling. Any cancellation received less than 7 days before the start date will not receive a refund. For a refund, please call 925-373-5700.

Yes, we have scholarships for our Youth and Senior programs. Scholarships are not guaranteed. Please fill out the form and submit to 4444 East Ave. Livermore, 94550 ATTN: Youth Services.
Our Café is open during the summer for recreational swim and on the weekends for special events the rest of the year.

Only service dogs are allowed in our facilities. LARPD operates seven dog parks.
Please call 925-373-5700 and we can process your information over the phone and mail your pass. Our Sycamore Grove parking pass is not valid at Del Valle Regional Park.
You can find out more information about Camp Shelly under the Open Space page. Camp Shelly is located in South Lake Tahoe and is open from mid-June thru Labor Day weekend.

Once you have turned in your application, it will be given to our Human Resources department who will then decide if your application will be given to the department supervisor for review. The department supervisor will then contact you if they want to move forward with an interview.

If after attending the first day of your class or camp, you are not completely satisfied, please let us know within 24 hours after the first day of class and we will issue a refund (less $12), provided you attended the first class and were dissatisfied. We are not liable for a participant who fails to attend class.
