​Volunteer Native Garden Work Days

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Native Gardens at Sycamore Grove Park!  Our gardens highlight plants native to our area and their incredible ecological and cultural connections.  We are always happy to have volunteers help out around the garden, regardless of their experience with gardening and/or native plants. 

Volunteer Tasks change seasonally and include:

  • Weeding
  • Leaf Removal
  • Mulching
  • Planting
  • Seed Collecting
  • Pruning

This volunteer opportunity will resume in Fall 2026. 

Please register below to volunteer with us. Each volunteer needs to have a volunteer account (MyImpactPage.com) with us or fill out an application.

  • Arroyo Entrance to Sycamore Grove Park: 5049 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA.  Please meet the ranger at the garden.
  • Wetmore Entrance to Sycamore Grove Park: 1051 Wetmore Road, Livermore, CA.  Please meet the ranger at the garden.

  • LARPD will provide volunteers with tools and gloves for working in the garden, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.
