Robert Livermore Park is located 491 Loyola Way and named after the founder of Livermore. Robert Thomas Livermore, also known as Don Roberto Livermore, (1799- 1858) was an English-born Californian ranchero. He emigrated to Alta California in 1822, eventually becoming a Mexican citizen and a prominent landowner in the Bay Area. The city of Livermore, California is named for him. This park was formerly agricultural land used for field crops and grazing.
This 29.9-acre community park includes a rentable group picnic area, multi-use sports fields, a restroom building, baseball fields, four (4) lighted tennis courts, two (2) sand volleyball courts, and a walking trail.
Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
