Valentines for Seniors

Heart-shaped sign encourages creating Valentine cards for seniors in the community.

Let's spread some LOVE to the senior citizens in our community!

This volunteer opportunity is to create "Valentine Cards" for the senior community. The cards will be handed out during the Senior Lunch Service at Robert Livermore Community Center, at Senior Services events/programs, and to participants in the Spectrum Meals on Wheels program. If supply allows, we will share with local senior housing locations in Livermore.

Each person who signs up is tasked with making 10 valentines.

You may create/design your Valentine’s cards using any materials you like (no materials will be provided).

Please keep it positive; the goal is to spread love to our seniors!

This activity will count for 1.5 hours of Community Service for every 10 cards submitted.

PLEASE COMPLETE BY 2/9/25

Completed Valentine's cards must be dropped off on or before Friday, 2/9/2026, at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Avenue, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., M-Thurs and 8:30 am and 5 pm Friday.

There is a drop-off box located in the main lobby of the Community Building. Please include your name when dropping off the cards so we can credit you for community service hours if desired.
