Valley Wilds Article | Guess Who?

Sycamore Grove Park is home to many different wildlife. Let’s play a game and try to figure out who some of these critters are!
1. I have feathers and wings, but I don’t always fly. I can swim in the water and say “quack!”
Who am I?
2. I have a fluffy tail and love to climb trees. I search for nuts and sometimes bury them for later.
Who am I?
3. I have large ears and long legs. I quietly walk through the grass and woods.
Who am I?
4. I soar high above the trees and use my sharp eyes to look for food below.
Who am I?
5. I am awake when many people are asleep. I have excellent hearing and can fly silently through the night.

6. I have a bushy tail and a mask across my face. I like to explore at night and am very good at climbing.

7. I hop through the grass with powerful back legs and have long ears.

8. I am small and quick, and I may hide under rocks or logs. I have smooth skin and need moisture to stay healthy.

9. I don’t have any legs, but I can still move quickly. I use my tongue to smell the world around me.

10. I have a hard shell that protects my body, and I move slowly along the ground or through the water.
