Mad Science of the Bay Area Staff 

Whether you love to build things or destroy them, this camp includes lots of both! Design and build structures using simple tools and your imagination! Machine madness starts when you discover how different machines, both simple and complex, are used in our daily lives. Children will even build their own Robot! Bring a snack and water.

Fizz-ical Phenomena & Che-Mystery🐦

Mad Science of the Bay Area Staff  

Have a ton of fun with all kinds of chemistry, including growing crystals, making sidewalk chalk, and learning the science of chromatography! Mix it up as we experiment with molecular madness, radical reactions, and 'fizz'-ical and chemical reactions. Children will use their observation skills, collect evidence, conduct chemical analysis, and work together to solve a crazy Mad Science caper!

STEM-ulating Science Camp🐦

Find out just how much fun Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) can be with our unique and exciting hands-on activities. We will put our engineering and technology skills to use and build structures, explore space, and discover magnetic levitation.

Basic math concepts such as units of measure, shapes, problem solving, addition, and subtraction are used during our crazy experiments. Kids will continue the fun and learning at home with experiments they've made at camp!

Dinos and Ancient Worlds Camp 🐦

Dinosaurs, Myths, and Legends! Dig up some proof when little more than fables are left behind. Learn about archaeologists, paleontologists, and the techniques scientists use to excavate and discern fact from fiction. Study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history. Make and take-home projects each day, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world.

Spy Academy Camp🐦

From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers check out spy tech equipment and take-home gadgets! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on view of the science that spies and detectives use!
