Calling all nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts! From pursuing an interest in STEM and the outdoor industry to adventuring and recreating in nature, this program is geared towards young teens to give them a sense of independence, a community of peers, and a calling towards stewardship. 

Meeting one Saturday a month, each session will show teens a different side of our local wildlife and open spaces.  

  • Drop-off and pick-up at Sycamore Grove Ranger Station Picnic Area (5035 Arroyo Rd).
  • Transportation to off-site locations is provided.

Ranger Explorers Campout

Get ready for a coastal adventure at Wright’s Beach Campground—your seaside base for exploring the amazing Sonoma Coast State Park. We will spend our day exploring the rugged shoreline, hiking the scenic bluff-top trails, and searching for marine life in the vibrant tide pools! It's a wonderful chance to enjoy the crisp sea air and make s’mores with friends under the stars as the waves crash along the coast.  

  • Dinner and breakfastare  included.
  • Campers supply their own camping equipment (except tents).
  • Transportation provided. 
  • Meet at the Sycamore Grove Park Ranger Station at 5035 Arroyo Road.
