Ages and Stages Curriculum
- Swim Lessons are seperated by age groups.
- Each group will work towards safety and swim benchmarks to achieve water competency and safety goals. The benchmarks covered by all groups include water readiness and trust, body position, air exchange, forward movement, direction change, streamlines, side breathing position, and water competency.
- Our skilled instructors will make accommodations for students based on their readiness to complete skills. Participants will practice these skills through various entertaining learning activities in a safe and fun environment.
- All group lessons will be at The May Nissen Swim Center - 685 Rincon Avenue.
Class Descriptions
Starfish (4-5 Years)
Starfish (4-5 Years)
Starfish participants will work towards safety and swim benchmarks to achieve water competency and safety goals. The benchmarks covered by all age groups include water readiness and trust, body position, air exchange, forward movement, direction change, streamlines, side breathing position, and water competency.
Sea Turtle (6-7 Years)
