Ranger Ian will lead a guided hike on Sycamore Groves' newest stretch of trail: Patterson Ranch! This rugged loop will cover a wide variety of terrain throughout the park and offer stunning views of the Tri-Valley area. The hike will be around 5.5 miles long with lots of vertical gain and loss, so come prepared with appropriate attire, water, snacks, sturdy footwear, and other hiking essentials. While warm temperatures are expected, the hike may be cancelled if the daytime high exceeds 90 degrees. Due to the length and vertical gain/loss of this hike, advanced hiking ability is strongly recommended for participants of this event.Discover new heights and views from our newest addition to the park, the Patterson Ranch Trail. Ranger Danny will lead a 2-mile uphill hike to the view of Patterson Ranch and talk about what wonders we see along the way. Please bring water and sunscreen!
