The fire at Sycamore Grove Park in August 2020 damaged and burned several Oak Trees.   A dedicated group of volunteers has been hiking out once a month to the burned area to observe and record the recovery of these trees. Volunteers plan to share their findings next Summer when they complete their documentation.  

For now, they are looking forward to the Fall/Winter and are hoping for some rain to see how the trees rebound next Spring.  Check out this short video to see these volunteers in action!
