PARK HISTORY
Sycamore Grove Park is a natural space for passive recreation and nature study. It's home to special species like the CA red-legged frog and provides habitat for various animals. The park, originally 364 acres, was expanded in 1999 and 2015, with trail improvements in 2018 and a bridge project completed in 2019.
A breathtaking experience, explore the beauty of south Livermore by hiking, biking, walking, or jogging through this 847-acre open space park. Open seven (7) days a week from 7:00 a.m. to sunset daily.
Parking Fee
If you choose to park in the lot, there is a $5 daily parking fee. For frequent park visitors, we encourage you to purchase an annual parking pass.

Join a Ranger to explore and experience the wild! Get all the details about these programs by contacting the Ranger Office at (925) 960-2400, viewing the Events Calendar, signing up for the Valley Wilds newsletter, or emailing valleywilds@larpd.org.
Many weekend programs are FREE to all participants, though some may have a small fee to cover program supply costs. Registration is required for most Ranger programs. For more information, email natureprograms@larpd.org. An adult must accompany children under age 18. A daily parking fee may apply.
